Yet there was still no bed for the patient, so I had no choice but to send the rest of my team members home and wait with the patient until she was collected for the theatre at 6;00pm. a . The reflective process is not complete until the patient’s feelings are considered. Mrs A was not only apprehensive but also confused. She was unable to understand the delay in getting her a bed and needed reassuring constantly that everything will be alright.
