This in turn means that Next could change its suppliers if they did not fulfill the firm's requirements in terms of quality, price or environmental concern. Customers in clothing market possess low to moderate bargaining power due to the fact that there are large number of producers selling their own brands and those selling brands that are produced by different companies (Independent, 2012). However, as most of the customers purchase the products produced by Next for personal or family member use and the small amount of purchases in turn reduce their bargaining power. Consumer are increasingly becoming price and quality conscious and they are now demanding better quality and lesser price for which they consistently change different brands.
